14th Annual “Bid Against Child Abuse” Auction

Our annual auction will be held at the Nonantum Resort on Ocean Avenue in Kennebunkport.
Join us for this incredible event and the Council’s largest fundraiser. Past auction items have included: a chartered helicopter ride; a week in the Florida Keys; use of heavy construction equipment; a tea party in a historic Summer Street home; a kids birthday party at the Kennebunk Fire Department; bat person for a day at a Sea Dogs game; and many more exciting items. Tickets include hors d’oeuvres, coffee and desserts.

April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month
We offer additional programs in schools throughout the month of April, including Rick Charette “I’ve Got Superpower” Concerts and Get a Clue Productions “No More Secrets” plays. “Child Abuse, A Perspective for Educators”

Our week-long 3 to 4.5 credit CEU course will be offered following the end of the school year. Topics include: Family Violence; the signs and symptoms of Physical, Emotion, and Sexual Abuse; Developmental Impact of Child Abuse & Neglect; Risk and Resiliency; Understanding the Legal System & Department of Health and Human Services; Educational Advocacy & Prevention. 15th Annual “Private Gardens of the Kennebunk’s” Tour
